    Brandon Mull published his first book, Fablehaven, in 2006. This book, again his very first book, was immediately on the New York Times Bestsellers list. This book alone, out of the five different installments, has sold over 2 million copies sold. There is a total of 5 books in the Fablehaven series, published one ever year from 2006 to 2010. They are titled, “Fablehaven,” “Rise of the Evening Star,” “Grip of the Shadow Plague,” “Secrets of the Dragon Sanctuary,” and “Keys to the Demon Prison.” Each of these books continue the story of two kids, Seth and Kendra, who discover a mystical world in their grandfather’s backyard. The books show the two of them journeying through the unknown and trying to solve the mysteries of this new world.

   The next books that Mull Published was “The Candy Shop War,” in 2007. The second book was then published a couple years later in 2012. This two-part series is similar to “Fablehaven,” because it is about a kid named Nate who discovers magic with his friends and has navigate through the new world that he has discovered. Though this story may seem similar, it is another thrilling story with many secrets to unfold.

   “Pingo,” published in 2009, is the next 2-part series written by Brandon Mull. The second book, “Pingo and the Playground Bully,” was published in 2012. These books are a lot different then the majority of his books; instead of being a young adult fantasy, it is a fiction children’s book. This children’s book is about a child named Chad whose best friend turns into his imaginary enemy, teaching and taking kids on an interesting and fun story.

   In 2011, the later of Brandon Mulls two most popular series was released. This series is the trilogy of “Beyonders.” According to brandonmull.com, this was Mull’s original idea for a book, and what got him into truly writing and being and author. This series starts of with the book, “A World Without Heroes,” and creates a world where the main character’s normal teenage life turns upside down when he accidentally falls into a hippo’s mouth and travels to a new world called Lyrian. In 2012 he then released “Seeds of Rebellion,” the second installment. Then in 2013 the third book, “Chasing the Prophecy,” was finally released. This series is a marvelous story of two kids becoming heroes in a world they didn't even know exsisted.

   After the “Beyonders” trilogy, Brandon Mull continues to release books. His most recent ones are fifth and sixth installments of the “Dragonwatch” series. He released both in 2021. Though before those, he wrote the “Spirit Animals” collection of books, the “Five Kingdoms” books, the “Dragonwatch” series, and a few other picture books, along with all of the other books mentioned before.
